Grasmere is a small, round lake central to the walker's map. Visitors pause on its shores to look over the near-shore reed beds toward the single wooded island, safely enclosed by the steep shoulders of Helm Crag and Silver How.

This mid-century Swiss reduction strips the landscape to pure, striking geometry. From across a room, the eye meets the massive slate-grey circle of the water and the stark black dot of the island, anchored by five bold red vertical bars representing the reeds. The enclosing fells become sharp, interlocking triangles sitting cleanly above crisp, architectural typography.

Striking on a bright stairwell or study wall, this print arrives fully framed and ready to hang. A black frame perfectly picks out the dark island and bold lettering below, while a white moulding offers a seamless transition into the pale background. Part of a wider modernist series, it looks brilliant collected and hung as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
