Great Gable is a massive pyramid peak of grey crags. For walkers, it is a defining summit, where steep slopes give way to wide fans of scree cascading down to the valley floor. Thin winding paths meet at the valley head below, marking the start of a classic ascent.

This design captures the fell in a hard frost, drawing on the vintage railway poster tradition. The mountain is reduced to bold shapes of slate and ice-blue snow, backed by a single band of cold pink sky. From across a room, the sharp contrast of shadowed rock and bright snow commands immediate attention.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print works brilliantly above a study desk or anchoring a stairwell. A black frame sharply defines the icy winter tones, while a white frame lifts the pale sky. Part of a wider collection, it is perfect for grouping into sets of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
