Honister Pass is a formidable ascent, a narrow road climbing steeply through a rocky defile. Navigating its bends brings the reward of the valley falling away behind. High above, slate spoil and old quarry workings scar the fellside, marking the history of this dramatic mountain route.

This design reimagines the terrain through the flowing lines of the Art Nouveau movement. The winding road and rugged crags are softened into graceful whiplash curves, contained within an ornamental border. Printed in sage, rose, and muted gold, it frames classic travel typography with botanical elegance.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
