Honister Pass is a dramatic ascent where a narrow road climbs steeply through a rocky defile. Crags loom above, with deep scars of slate spoil and old quarry workings dominating the fellside. It is a breathtaking passage, with the steep valley falling away sharply behind.

This cubist design shatters the landscape into sharp, faceted planes. Earthy ochres, deep slate greys and muted greens interlock to build the heavy weight of the gorge. From across a room, the pale, twisting ribbon of the road draws the eye sharply up to the quarry, reading as a striking geometric poster.

Bold and structural, this piece brings graphic impact to a stairwell or sitting room. It arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame brilliantly emphasises the dark, fractured shadows, while natural wood complements the earthy tones. Designed as part of a wider series, it is perfect for collecting as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
