Seen from the terrace path above, Rydal Water is a shallow lake cupped by steep slopes. Walkers pause here beside bare oak and birch, taking in the dramatic elevation before the eye is drawn across the water to the fells dropping to the far shore.

The layered papercut style translates this viewpoint into a striking study of depth. Six planes of crisp shapes recede into the mist, shifting from dark foreground branches into muted greens and slate blues. From across a room, every edge appears to cast a soft shadow, building a distinct three-dimensional effect.

Ideal for a hallway or study, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the woodland tones and cream sky. Delivered edge-to-edge with no mount, it belongs to a wider series, making it easy to build a matching collection of three.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
