Rydal Water is a beloved sight for walkers tracing the terrace path above its shallow waters. This familiar Lakeland view is framed by bare oak and birch to the left, looking across to where the fell drops steeply to the far shore and the craggy scar rises above.

The design reimagines the landscape in the elaborate tradition of Art Nouveau. Sweeping whiplash curves and an ornamental border draw the eye from across a room. A period palette of sage, rose and muted gold reduces winter branches and fell ridges to bold, decorative graphic shapes above the classic destination typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print makes a striking addition to a stairwell or sitting room. A Natural wood frame perfectly complements the organic green and gold tones of the artwork. As part of a wider travel poster series, it works beautifully alone or grouped as a collected set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
