Rydal Water is a shallow lake best appreciated from the terrace path above. Walkers pause here to take in the view, where bare oak and birch frame the water to the left. Across the surface, Loughrigg Fell drops to the far shore, while Nab Scar rises steep above.

Captured in the Vivid style, this design adopts the bold block shapes of mid-century railway posters. Autumnal rusts strike a brilliant contrast against the deep blues of the water and saturated purples of the fells. From across a room, these sweeping lines and clean typography resolve into a strong graphic statement.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, this print anchors a hallway or sitting room beautifully. A natural wood frame perfectly warms the rich autumn tones of the foliage. Belonging to a wider series of Lakeland views, it works well on its own or grouped as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
