Rydal Water is a shallow lake best admired from the high terrace path traversing the slopes above. Walkers pause here for a classic view, where bare oak and birch frame the scene from the left, a steep fell drops heavily to the far shore, and a rugged scar rises overhead.

This design translates the landscape into pure Bauhaus geometry, reducing the terrain to a strict grid. From across a room, the water reads as a solid block of vivid primary blue, while the fells and trees are abstracted into sharp triangles, squares, and circles in striking red, yellow, and black.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings a burst of primary colour to a modern stairwell or study. A black frame perfectly echoes the heavy grid lines of the composition, anchoring the bright geometry. It belongs to a wider modernist series, ideal for collecting as a geometric set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
