Seen from the terrace path above, the shallow expanse of Rydal Water opens out beneath steep fellside. Bare oak and birch frame the view, guiding the eye towards the far shore where Loughrigg Fell drops to the water under the steep rise of Nab Scar.

This impressionist treatment captures the dissolving light of a Lakeland afternoon. Painted in broken patches of colour rather than strict outlines, the landscape becomes shimmering dabs of violet, soft pink, and blue. From across a room, these bold marks resolve into sweeping fells and textured reflections on the lake.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
