Reaching the roof of England is a true Lakeland milestone. Scafell Pike presents a broad, boulder-strewn summit dome of grey rock under a wide sky. Beside it, a deep gulf falls away abruptly toward a sheer crag wall, while ridges of lower fells layer endlessly into the hazy distance.

Reviving the 1930s railway poster tradition, this design reduces the complex terrain to bold shapes and flat inks. From across a room, the summit boulders resolve into stark shadows of deep navy and ochre, contrasting with the muted purples and greens of the receding ridges. Geometric clouds and crisp typography complete the vintage effect.

A commanding focal point for a hallway or study, it arrives fully framed edge-to-edge and ready to hang. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the earthy golds of the sunlit rock, while a black moulding anchors the deep mountain shadows. Part of a wider collection, it looks striking alone or grouped with other summit designs.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
