Reaching the summit is a rite of passage for any fell-walker. From this broad, boulder-strewn dome of grey rock, the landscape reveals itself under a wide sky. A deep gulf falls away to the right toward a sheer crag wall, as ridges of lower fells layer endlessly into the distance.

This design captures the stark elevation in the bold tradition of 1930s railway posters. Flat planes of ochre and indigo define the fragmented foreground rocks, while sweeping shapes map the distant ridges. From across a room, it reads as a graphic celebration of altitude, anchored by crisp typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print anchors a stairwell or study wall perfectly. A black frame sharply defines the deep shadows of the crags, while natural wood complements the earthy boulders. Belonging to a wider series, it is ideal for collecting alongside other classic Lakeland landscapes.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
