To walk Striding Edge is a rite of passage for any fell-bagger. Seen from above, the narrow arête forms a dramatic pathway along its crest, dipping before rising to a sharp summit. Far below, a deep tarn sits in a mountain bowl, backed by layered fells receding into the distance.

Inspired by classic railway posters, this design reduces complex topography to bold geometry. The sunlit ridge glows in vivid sweeps of gold and green, contrasting sharply with the shadowed crags. From across a room, the eye follows the rugged crest upward, anchored by the striking blue water and clean typography.

Perfect for a hallway or above a study desk, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame accents the dark rock shadows beautifully, giving the bright colours a crisp boundary. Part of a wider series, it looks brilliant alone or grouped with other hard-won Lakeland summits.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
