Looking down the length of Ullswater from a high rocky crag, the water doglegs between overlapping fells. It is a striking vantage point known to generations of walkers, where a wooded promontory reaches into the deep water and distant peaks rise to close the valley.

The landscape is treated here in the tradition of a Japanese woodblock print. Built from distinct, layered colour and held by a quiet key line, the design resolves into bold, readable shapes from across a room. The soft gradient of the sky contrasts cleanly with the deep blues of the lake and the heavily textured foreground.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a sense of scale to a hallway, stairwell or sitting room. A natural wood frame highlights the print's earthy greens, while a black moulding sharpens the classic typography. Hang it as a singular memory or collect it alongside other views in the series.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
