Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone packhorse bridge spanning a rocky beck on the winding road up the fell. Walkers pause here for a classic perspective, looking over the low parapet as the land drops abruptly away to frame the vast lake and towering mountain massif far below.

This design reimagines the famous scene through the bold lens of Cubism. The landscape is fractured into faceted planes, breaking the rocky riverbed, the bridge arch, and the distant peaks into interlocking geometric shapes. From across a room, the slate greys, earthy ochres, and olive greens form a striking, modern tribute to vintage railway posters.

A strong graphic statement for a hallway or study wall, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. It looks striking in a black frame, which anchors the dark cubist shadows, or natural wood to echo the earthy fells. Part of a wider series, it can be collected to build a Lake District set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
