Blencathra is a fell of distinct character, its broad saddleback summit rising sharply above rich valley pastures. In the foreground meadow, ancient standing stones form a silent circle, separated from the bright water and the towering fellside by a dark, framing line of trees.

The design captures the landscape in the bold, saturated style of vintage railway prints. The scene is reduced to striking flat colours: brilliant blue skies, towering white clouds, and vibrant fellsides warming to rust near the peak. These heavy, simple shapes anchor the composition, making the classic typography and the landscape itself instantly readable from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings a bold burst of colour to a hallway, stairwell or holiday cottage. We recommend the natural wood frame to echo the earthy tones of the stones, or crisp white to make the bright skies pop. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
