Blencathra rises as a broad saddleback summit above peaceful valley pastures. In the meadow below, a circle of ancient standing stones anchors the view, separated from the towering fell by a dark line of trees.

The design channels the confident tradition of 1930s railway posters, reducing complex landforms to flat inks and bold shapes. Deep purples on the mountain contrast sharply with the muted greens and sandy tones of the meadow. Designed to catch the eye from across a room, the striking graphic vista is anchored by a single, perfect line of classic type.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece makes a commanding focal point in a hallway or above a sitting room mantel. A black frame sharpens the silhouette of the trees beautifully. Part of a wider collection, it is perfect for hanging as a set of three alongside other beloved peaks.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
