Blencathra is a broad saddleback summit rising sharply above valley pastures. Walkers who trace its ridges are familiar with the ancient standing stones resting in the meadow in the foreground, separated from the rising fell by a dark, defining line of trees.

Rendered in the vivid travel poster tradition, this design reduces the landscape to striking, flat planes of saturated colour. Brilliant blue skies and bold, graphic clouds frame the rust and ochre slopes. From across a room, the dark silhouettes of the treeline and the heavy grey shapes of the stones create a powerful, structured composition.

Perfect for adding a block of intense colour to a hallway or stairwell, this framed print arrives ready to hang. A black frame sharply anchors the dark trees and bold white typography. Part of a wider series, it looks magnificent collected and hung alongside other favourite fells.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
