Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake studded with small, wooded islands. Across the water, steep western fells rise sharply, while the jaws of the high valleys close in the distance, drawing the eye south.

This Art Nouveau treatment reduces the landscape to elegant, flowing lines and signature whiplash curves. Rendered in a soft botanical palette of sage, rose and muted gold, the rippling water and sweeping fellides are framed by an intricate ornamental border. From across a room, it reads as a striking vintage illustration, anchored by classic typography.

Ideal for a stairwell or bringing character to a holiday cottage, this framed poster arrives ready to hang. A Natural wood frame beautifully highlights the print's earthy tones, while Black gives the border a sharp, graphic edge. Part of a wider series, it looks magnificent hung alone or collected alongside other Lakeland views.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
