Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake studded with small, wooded islands. Walkers stand on its shores looking across the water towards the western fells and the closing jaws of the distant valley. It is a classic Lakeland view, known by heart.

The design treats the landscape to a mid-century Swiss reduction. Everything is stripped back to bold, overlapping shapes: jagged black island silhouettes set against flat planes of grey fell. A striking red sun hangs in an off-white sky, creating a graphic punch that reads instantly from across a room.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, it makes a strong statement in a stairwell or study. A black frame perfectly matches the heavy island forms, instantly grounding the artwork on a light wall. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
