Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake broken by small, wooded islands. Standing on its shores means looking across the water to rising western fells and the narrowing jaws of a great valley. It is a definitive Lakeland view, loved by walkers marking another route.

This design captures the landscape with chalky modern minimalism, reducing water and peaks to sweeping, untextured shapes. Rendered in a restful palette of sand, oat and sage green, it strips back detail to find essential lines. From across a room, it reads as a beautifully calm block of colour.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
