Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake studded with small, wooded islands. Walkers stand on its shores to look across the water toward the steep slopes of the western fells and the dramatic, closing jaws of the distant valley.

The design reimagines the view through the precise style of a layered papercut. Deep forest greens form the silhouetted pines, dropping back through six distinct planes of colour that recede into a soft mist. From across a room, the crisp edges and simulated drop-shadows give the artwork a striking, three-dimensional depth.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a graphic focal point to a bright stairwell or above a study desk. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the woodland greens of this design. Belonging to a wider series of papercut posters, it can be collected and hung as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
