Grasmere is a small, round lake enclosed by the steep shoulders of the surrounding fells. At its centre sits a single wooded island, a familiar marker for walkers navigating the reed beds along the near shore or descending from the high ridges.

This design reimagines the valley in classic Art Nouveau style. Whiplash curves frame the scene, reducing the still water and woodland to sweeping lines in a muted palette of sage, rose, and soft gold. From across a room, its bold botanical borders and elegant typography recall the decorative tradition of early twentieth-century travel art.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, this print grounds a hallway, stairwell or quiet study. The natural wood frame beautifully highlights the design's earthy sage tones, while the black moulding provides a sharp, elegant contrast. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
