Grasmere is a small, round lake held at the very centre of the national park. Walkers look past the dense reed beds of the near shore to the single wooded island that anchors the water. Above, the steep shoulders of Helm Crag and Silver How enclose the valley.

This design treats the landscape with the fierce energy of Constructivism. The valley is stripped back to hard, overlapping diagonals in high-contrast red, black and cream. From across a room, the central island and red sky read instantly as bold geometric shapes—a piece of powerful visual agitation.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this bold print commands attention in a stairwell or above a study desk. A black solid wood frame best locks in the heavy shadows of the crags. It belongs to a wider series of Lakeland locations, easily grouped as a striking set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
