Great Gable is a massive pyramid peak dominating the valley head. Walkers who tackle its steep slopes know an uncompromising architecture of shattered grey crags, where wide fans of scree cascade sharply to the valley floor and thin, winding paths meet at the base.

This design reimagines the fell through the lens of twentieth-century Constructivism, reducing the mountain to an agitation of hard diagonals and jagged geometric forms. Scree runs become striking rays of cream and slate blue, cutting through stark black shadows and bold blocks of industrial red. From across a room, it is a powerful graphic statement.

A commanding presence for a modern stairwell or study, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame is highly recommended, extending the heavy shadows to anchor the poster sharply against the wall. Part of a wider series, it is perfect for building a striking Lakeland collection.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
