Haystacks is a beloved summit of knobbled rock, rough knolls, and small summit pools. Walkers know this fell by heart, drawn to the quiet tarn lying in its hollow and the spectacular views of the long ridges rising across the valley beyond.

Captured in the grand tradition of mid-century railway posters, the complex terrain is reduced to bold shapes and bright, saturated flat colour. Brilliant blue skies and heavy, rolling clouds back the sunlit greens and heather-toned slopes. From across a room, the sharp contrast of the deep blue water against the vibrant fellside instantly catches the eye, anchored by classic block typography.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
