Honister Pass is a dramatic, steep climb through a rocky defile. Travellers know this narrow road well, ascending sharply between towering crags and the scarred fellside of old slate workings, while the valley falls away sharply behind.

This design reimagines the stark landscape through the strict lens of the Bauhaus movement. The slate spoil and steep inclines are reduced to severe primary geometry on a rigid grid. Bold triangles, heavy circles, and striking blocks of pure colour transform a brutal ascent into a graphic composition, designed to be read instantly from across a room.

A brilliant shot of primary colour for a modern hallway or stairwell. It arrives framed and ready to hang, looking exceptionally sharp in a black frame that anchors its heavy, diagonal lines. Belonging to a wider series, it is perfect for collecting as a bold, modernist set.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.

The Bauhaus series

Primary geometry on a strict grid — the fells as circles, triangles and blocks

The landscape put through the Bauhaus: circles, triangles and hard rectangles on a strict grid, in primary red, cobalt and chrome yellow. Severe, cheerful and utterly modern — it suits a plain wall and a room with no clutter.
