Honister Pass is a dramatic climb through a rocky defile between towering crags. Travellers tackle this narrow road to experience the raw scale of the terrain, where slate spoil and old quarry workings scar the steep fellside, and the valley falls sharply away behind.

This design reimagines the rugged landscape through meticulous monochrome ink hatching and impossible geometry. From across a room, the eye follows a twisting road through angular, monolithic rock faces. Below, a surreal tessellation sees fish morph seamlessly into soaring birds, offering a striking, mind-bending take on the traditional poster aesthetic.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
