Honister Pass is a dramatic route where a narrow road climbs steeply through a rocky defile. Those who brave the ascent know the imposing crags, slate spoil and old quarry workings that scar the fellside above, while the valley falls away sharply behind.

This line art print captures the twisting road and steep valley walls using a single continuous black line. The complex textures of crag and slate are reduced to elegant, unbroken contours, anchored by a solid block of slate-blue colour defining the sky. From across a room, it reads as a bold, modern piece of graphic design.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
