Honister Pass is a formidable ascent, a narrow road climbing steeply through a rocky defile between dark crags. Walkers tackle this route to experience the raw power of the landscape, where slate spoil and old quarry workings scar the fellside above, the valley falling dramatically away behind.

The design captures this rugged terrain through a stark Constructivist lens. Stripping the pass to its essential geometry, it relies on hard diagonals in industrial red, deep black and pale cream. From across a room, it reads as visual agitation—a bold, graphic arrangement of towering rock and winding mountain road that commands attention.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking print is perfect for a hallway or study wall. A black frame perfectly complements the high-contrast palette, anchoring the heavy shadows to your room. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
