The terrace path above Rydal Water offers a classic Lakeland walk, looking directly across the shallow lake. From this vantage point, bare oak and birch trees frame the view from the left, while Loughrigg Fell drops to the far shore and Nab Scar rises steeply above.

Reimagined as a Japanese woodblock print, the landscape is built from layered, earthy colours and anchored by a quiet key line. Across a room, the eye is drawn to the intricate, sweeping branches in the foreground set against a soft gradient sky that reflects calmly on the water below.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it brings striking character to a hallway, stairwell, or study. A natural wood frame perfectly draws out the organic tones of the fellside, while a black frame sharpens the dark outlines of the trees. This piece belongs to a wider series, easily grouped as a set on a larger wall.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
