Best viewed from the terrace path, Rydal Water is a shallow lake forming a much-loved stage of a low-level circuit. Walkers pause here to look past bare oak and birch, tracing the water to where Loughrigg Fell drops to the far shore, with Nab Scar steep above.

This design reimagines the view through the lens of Constructivism. The landscape is fractured into uncompromising diagonals of stark black, deep red and warm cream. Bare branches become a geometric scaffold, while fells and water are reduced to sharp, intersecting planes. From across a room, it operates as a bold, agitating modernist statement.

A striking addition to a study or stairwell, it arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame anchors the heavy graphic lines, while white offers crisp contrast. Belonging to a wider series of Lakeland prints, it works brilliantly alone or collected as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
