Rydal Water is a shallow lake best viewed from the terrace path high above. It is a place where walkers pause, framed by bare oak and birch from the left. Across the water, Loughrigg Fell drops sharply to the far shore, while Nab Scar looms steep above.

The design reimagines this view through the lens of Constructivism. Stripped back to its underlying geometry, the landscape is rendered in hard diagonals of red, black, and cream. From across a room, these bold, agitated shapes turn the fells into a striking graphic statement, anchored by the heavy, authoritative typography of the vintage travel poster tradition.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
