Striding Edge is the most famous rocky arête in the fells, a thrilling ridge walk drawing those seeking an exhilarating route to the summit. From above, the narrow crest dips and rises sharply, dropping to the dark water of a deep tarn in the mountain bowl below.

The dramatic drop is captured with mid-century simplicity, reducing the ridge to bold, flat facets of olive, ochre and deep slate. Playful stylisation uses tiny repeated marks to suggest scree, while the tarn sits in smooth horizontal bands beneath a graphic sun.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this geometric print commands attention on a stairwell or study wall. The warm tones are set off beautifully by a natural wood frame. Part of a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside other Lakeland designs.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.

Charley Harper simplicity: flat shapes, playful stylisation, tiny repeated marks

In the manner of Charley Harper: extreme simplification into flat geometric shapes, texture suggested by tiny repeated marks, and a great deal of confident empty ground. Teal, mustard, brick and sage.
