Striding Edge is a narrow rocky arête testing the nerve of those drawn to high places. Seen from above, the path follows the jagged crest, dipping then rising to a sharp summit. In the bowl below to the left sits the dark water of a mountain tarn, framed by receding layered fells.

The design captures this formidable ridge with playful mid-century simplicity. Complex geology becomes bold, flat shapes in earthy ochres, terracottas, and muted teals. A dotted line traces the path, while tiny repeated marks suggest scree. From across a room, the sharp geometry stands out instantly as a powerful graphic statement.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it commands attention on a stairwell wall or above a desk. A black frame provides a crisp border that echoes the dark tones of the tarn, while natural wood beautifully softens the retro palette. Part of a wider poster series, it works perfectly alone or grouped as a collection.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
