Walkers know this narrow rocky arête as a true test of nerve. Viewed from above, Striding Edge reveals a thrilling path along the crest, dipping then rising to a sharp summit. Dark water gathers in the mountain bowl below to the left, set against layered fells. It is a landscape commanding absolute respect.

The design translates this dramatic topography into chalky modern minimalism. Steep drops become sweeping blocks of sand, oat, and muted clay, anchored by soft sage. From across a room, the ridge reads as a striking graphic composition, paring back the rough terrain into a calm palette made to live with.

Ideal for a study or hallway, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. The pale tones are beautifully drawn out by the Natural wood frame, adding an organic warmth to the wall. As part of an understated series, it works perfectly alone or grouped to build a gallery of Lakeland climbs.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.

The Muted Modern series

Chalky modern minimalism in sand, oat and sage — made to live with

Quiet, chalky and low-contrast, in the sand, oat, clay and sage a modern interior is already painted in. The place is still exactly itself — just held softly enough to live above a sofa for twenty years.
