Striding Edge is the ultimate Lakeland challenge, a narrow rocky arête where walkers test their nerve. The path traces a dramatic crest, dipping and rising to a sharp summit, while the dark water of a mountain tarn sits in the steep bowl below.

In our Winter Railway style, this famous ridge is reduced to bold shapes of hard frost. From across a room, stark slate-grey rock cuts fiercely through expanses of snow and ice blue, softened only by a single band of cold pink in the winter sky.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this commanding piece suits a stairwell or study wall. A black frame perfectly emphasises the jagged crags, while white picks up the crisp snowfields. Part of a wider collection, it looks brilliant hung alone or grouped as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
