Tarn Hows is a celebrated beauty spot where a path curves along the shore of a small, island-studded tarn. Walkers follow this gentle circuit enclosed by a ring of dark conifers and larch, looking out across the water to where the high fells rise blue beyond.

This poster reduces the familiar woodland walk to a striking line-art composition. Rendered as one unbroken line, the shoreline, pines and peaks are distilled into an elegant continuous loop. A single block of colour grounds the design in muted blue, creating a bold, modern interpretation of classic travel typography.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
