Tarn Hows is a small, island-studded tarn ringed by dark conifers and larch. Walkers follow the path curving along its shore for unbroken views across the water to the fells rising blue beyond. It is a deeply cherished landscape, perfect for quiet reflection by the water's edge.

This line art design strips the view to its essence. A single, unbroken black line traces the wooded islands and distant ridges, anchored by one bold circle of muted sage green. From across a room, it reads as a striking modern graphic, catching the eye with flowing landscape contours and clean, bold typography.

Ideal for a bright stairwell or above a desk, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply defines the crisp linework, while natural wood echoes the surrounding forestry. It belongs to a matching series, making it easy to build a cohesive gallery wall of your favourite Lakeland walks.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
