Drawing walkers deep into its dramatic valley, Wastwater offers an unforgettable view. From a rocky shoreline foreground, the eye sweeps across the still water to the pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable centred at the valley head, and the imposing Scafells to the right, all perfectly mirrored.

The design captures the valley in our Vivid style, reviving mid-century railway posters through bold shapes and bright, saturated colour. Vibrant green and gold fellsides contrast against a deep azure lake, while crisp white clouds echo the striking region-wide typography across the base.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, it brings a strong splash of colour to a hallway or sitting room. A black frame pairs perfectly with the graphic typography, while natural wood softens the bold palette. Part of a wider series, it sits beautifully alongside other Lakeland prints.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
