The view up Wastwater towards Wasdale Head is a defining Lakeland panorama. From a rocky foreground, the eye traces the pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left and the vast Scafells on the right, meeting Great Gable perfectly centred at the valley head, all mirrored in the still, deep lake.

This design takes the classic railway poster tradition into a hard winter frost. Familiar slopes are reduced to bold, sweeping shapes of stark snow, slate grey and ice blue, caught beneath a single cold pink sun. From across a room, it makes a striking statement of shadow and light.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
