Windermere is the great curving artery of the southern lakes. Its wooded shores offer a sweeping perspective: the broad water extending away, small islands resting mid-water, and a serrated ridgeline on the far horizon. A passenger launch crosses the surface.

This layered papercut design translates the view into receding planes of deep green, soft teal, and misty blue. From across a room, the illusion of depth is striking; each overlapping contour appears to cast a soft shadow onto the water below, while crisp typography anchors the base.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, it brings a sharp, graphic focus to a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the forest tones, while a white frame enhances the crisp papercut edges. Part of a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside other Lakeland favourites.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
