Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone packhorse bridge arching steeply over a rocky beck. Walkers pause here for one of the definitive Lakeland viewpoints, looking past the stonework down the fellside to the sprawling lake and the great mountain massif rising beyond.

The design captures the view in the bold tradition of a winter railway poster. From across a room, the landscape resolves into striking, simplified shapes of heavy snow, slate and ice blue, lifted by a sharp cut of cold pink in the freezing winter sky and frosted foliage.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a blast of crisp air to a stairwell or study wall. A natural wood frame warms the cool, wintry palette beautifully, while white enhances the heavy frost of the artwork. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
