To stand by the still water of Buttermere is to witness an iconic Lakeland view. A row of tall Scots pines commands the near shore, perfectly mirrored below. Behind them rises a steep, craggy ridge, while a bare fellside sweeps down to the water's edge on the right.

This layered papercut design reduces the landscape to striking structural shapes easily read from across a room. Six distinct planes of muted blue and green recede into a pale mist. The sharp silhouettes of the pines contrast against the jagged fells, with each cut edge casting a soft, graphic shadow to give the reflection distinct depth.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings instant character to a hallway or study wall. A white frame highlights the pale, misty sky, while black moulding grounds the dark foreground pines. As part of a wider series, it sits beautifully alongside other Lakeland locations in a collected set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
