Buttermere is a valley of still waters drawing walkers who know its shores by heart. Here, a row of tall Scots pines on the near shore stands mirrored in the water, backed by a steep, craggy ridge, while a bare fellside falls to the shore on the right.

Rendered in our Muted Modern style, the landscape is reduced to chalky minimalism. Bold shapes define the ridges and trees in a calming palette of oat, sand and soft sage. From across a room, it reads as a gentle wash of earth tones, anchored by the classic typography across the foot.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings the outdoors to a bedroom or study. A natural wood frame warms the sandy hues beautifully, while white sharpens the minimalist aesthetic. As part of a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside others to build a striking hallway gallery.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
