Walkers trace the shoreline of Buttermere for views exactly like this. A row of tall Scots pines stands perfectly mirrored in the still water, backed by a steeply rising craggy ridge and a bare fellside sweeping down to the shore on the right.

The landscape is reimagined in the classic Art Nouveau style. The steep fells, mirrored pines and rippling reflections are reduced to flowing whiplash curves in a muted palette of sage, rose and gold. Framed by a highly decorative ornamental border, these rhythmic patterns create a striking, structured elegance from across a room.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, it brings a sense of decorative heritage to a stairwell or sitting room wall. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the earthy, organic tones of the print. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
