Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake studded with small wooded islands. Walkers stand on its shores to look out across the water towards the western fells and the dramatic jaws of the valley closing in the distance.

This design strips the landscape down to its absolute essence using one unbroken, sweeping line. The continuous trail traces the shore, islands, and peaks, anchored by a single bold block of slate blue. From across a room, this minimalist approach resolves into the lake's undeniable silhouette, paired cleanly with classic travel typography.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
