Grasmere is a small round lake defined by the single, densely wooded island at its centre. Enclosed by the broad shoulders of Helm Crag and Silver How, its sheltered waters and fringing reed beds have long made it a natural focal point for those exploring the central fells.

This design reimagines the familiar view as a striking optical illusion, built entirely from intricate monochrome ink hatching. The craggy skyline twists into an impossible architectural puzzle, while the lake's surface dissolves into a mesmerising tessellation where interlocking birds and fish rise seamlessly from the water.

An arresting piece for a study or a minimalist hallway, it arrives framed and ready to hang. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
