Grasmere is a perfectly contained, small round lake famous for the single wooded island resting at its centre. Walkers descend toward its shores, drawn by the symmetry of the water, the swaying reed beds, and the broad shoulders of the enclosing fells.

The poster views the lake through a mid-century wildlife lens. The landscape is reduced to bold, flat shapes: a perfect circle of teal water framed by angular rust-red and charcoal fells. The island becomes a cluster of geometric autumn trees, while the near shore is defined by playful, tiny repeated marks representing reeds.

Ideal above a sitting room sideboard or in a hallway, it arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply highlights the dark cuts of the fells, while natural wood complements the earthy island. Hang it alone or collect a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
