Great Gable stands as a massive pyramid peak of grey crags, drawing walkers to its formidable summit. Wide fans of scree cascade down steep slopes to the valley floor, where thin winding paths meet at the valley head below.

The railway poster tradition reduces this imposing landscape to bold shapes locked in a hard frost. Shadows are cast in deep slate and ice blue, contrasting with bright snow and a striking wash of cold pink across the lower grasses. From across a room, the sheer scale of the peak commands attention, anchored by clean typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece makes a powerful statement on a stairwell or study wall. A black frame sharply heightens the winter shadows, while natural wood softens the icy palette. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
