Honister Pass is a steep, dramatic climb through a rocky defile. Its narrow road cuts between sheer crags where slate spoil and old quarry workings scar the fellside above, while the valley floor falls away steeply behind.

This Muted Modern treatment reduces the rugged gorge to sweeping, minimal shapes. From across a room, the eye follows the pale ribbon of the pass flanked by block-colour slopes in sand, oat, and sage. A single, dark charcoal ridge anchors the design, leaving a chalky, calm study in modern minimalism.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
